"There are very few people who realise what God would make of them if they abandoned themselves into his hands, and let themselves be formed by his grace."

St Ignatius of Loyola

Panning for God PDF Print E-mail

Ignatian Spirituality proposes that God is a constant in our lives, constantly inviting us, constantly seeking to get our attention, trying to draw us deeper into love, life and freedom. Our challenge then is to sensitise ourselves to where God might be prompting and inviting us into deeper relationship. We can all do this by reflecting well on our days - the ordinary encounters and experiences - pleasant and unpleasant. Note in moments of quiet reflection the key events, emotions and challenges of the day and see for yourself!

St. Ignatius suggests 'finding God in all things'  means finding God in the realities of each day. We have to pan through these nitty gritty bits to discover the nuggets of learning and truth! Magis Ireland invites you to read and enjoy this series of articles describing the efforts of young people to do just that, and then to contribute your own article to the series.
