Volunteering Opportunities – part time

Projects in North Inner City Dublin range from youth clubs, to after-schools projects, tutoring second and third level students, playing football in Arbour Hill Prison, and working with children at risk. These projects require an hour or two per week with extended possibilities in the summer time.

Zamcraft

Through Slí Eile Zamcraft, the selling in Ireland of crafts made my local artists in Zambia, volunteers make a small but significant contribution to fair trade. All Volunteers get a chance to reflect on their experience of working with people who are disadvantaged, learn more about the intimate connection between justice and faith, and get an insight into the reasons for some of the inequalities in Irish society today.

Zamcraft Volunteers Needed!

To develop and promote the sale of Zambian crafts in Ireland.

We are looking for volunteers particularly those with an interest/background in sales, marketing and craftwork to get involved in market research, produce promotion, sales and direct communication with the artists in Zambia - to guide the future development of their sales into the Irish Market.

This is an idea project for those interested in the promotion of fairtrade, students of marketing, sales or development work...
