Social justice cannot be attained by violence. Violence kills what it intends to create.

Kairos PDF Print E-mail

KAIROS is the Greek word used in the Christian Scriptures for “momentary Time”.  It is also referred to as “GOD’S TIME”.

The Kairos Retreat Weekend, which runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening,  invites participants to consider what it means to live intentionally in “God’s time” by closely examining their relationship with themselves, with others, and with God.

The retreat is run by and for young adults and is a first-level retreat particularly appropriate for those who may never have made a retreat before.

Kairos is a Roman Catholic Retreat in the spiritual tradition of Ignatius of Loyola,   founder of the Jesuits.  Participants from any religious tradition are welcome as well as those from no religious tradition at all.
