I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons and daughters of one religion, and it is the spirit.

Spring Treats !!!
Greetings and Happy Springtime from Magis.
We hope you are enjoying the stretch in both the mornings and the evenings. It's great to see the extended brightness.
To those of you who filled in our recent online survey questionnaire, or met with our review group, we want to say a big THANK YOU. Your insights and views are very important to what we do, now and into the future.
As usual, we have been planning a number of programmes that can also add some brightness to your life. We keep saying this because its important enough - STOP, and take time FOR YOU this Spring. Have a look at our retreat and discussion evenings below and get in contact with us soon.
Blessings in all you do,
Padraig and the Magis team.

Join us on Thursday February 23rd 7-9.30pm for a vibrant focused conversation on sexuality as a healthy and sacred part of who we are. Retreat in Daily Life (RDL) / Lent 2012. For one week only!
Sun 26th February - Sun 4rd March

We will re-run the "Retreat in Daily Life" for Lent.

This retreat is non residential but wraps around your work/study/other commitments.

It involves you making an honest commitment to 30 minutes prayer per day and a daily half hour meeting with you’re personal prayer guide, (at a time that suits your daily routine)

You’ll be able to experiment with different ways of praying, and introductory and closing gatherings of retreatants will top and tail the week with helpful suggestions. There will be optional workshops through the week on Ways of Praying, Images of God, and Discernment/Decision Making.

Easter Collaborative Retreat
Easter_col_retreat

April 5th - 8th   2012

Cynthia Boutgeault, PhD, says “What if you put aside what you think you know about Jesus and approach the Gospels as though for the first time..... Jesus emerges as a teacher of the transformation of consciousness”.We are inviting young adults to prepare and be involved in an Easter retreat that looks at the age-old Christian message with fresh eyes. These 3 days will respect people and where they are at, and work with them to reflect on the questions of life and love? It is a creative exploration space with a group of ordinary young adults seeking the relevance of the Christian message for today.

So why not come together to put your own retreat linked to the Holy week liturgies in the Jesuit parish of Gardiner St., Dublin!

We will meet for our first gathering in Magis Ireland office 22nd March at 7.30pm to discuss possibilities. It is what you make it, literally…If this sounds interesting or you want more information contact:   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
